Back in the day, we earned knowledge—through degrees, certificates in leadership or real estate, and years of field experience. Now, knowledge lives at our fingertips as we realize AI is more than just a tool to rewrite emails.

I’ve been using AI in my coaching practice, and wow—it’s transformative.

Just today, I challenged a leadership team to refine their go-forward goals using AI prompts. Some jumped at the opportunity, while others haven’t even opened an AI tool yet.

This experience confirmed something exciting: as we begin to explore AI, curiosity, reflection, and deliberate prompting become our superpowers. It’s not about getting the answer—it’s about:

Curiosity – Start with “what if?”

Reflection – Pause, process, then ask smart follow-ups

Context – Provide clear background and specifics in your prompts

AI amplifies what we already do: guide, connect, and grow. When used thoughtfully, it sharpens insights, accelerates learning, and gives you space to focus on what you do best.

Worth the share

In a recent opinion piece AI is a Boon to “High Agency” People in the Wall Street Journal, Andy Kessler wrote about Replit, an AI company that let’s you “turn your ideas into apps”. What is so cool about this product is that “high-agency people” are able to make their dreams a reality, creating apps without knowing how to code. High agency people are those who see a gap and want to solve the problem, they are “defiant” and believe they can change the world.

Unlike when Mark Zuckerberg built Facebook, creatives with an idea can tell Replit what they want to build and build the app in minutes, it is “democratizing actually making things”. Some examples of successful Replit apps include:

  • A Massachusetts restaurant that built a custom inventory management system.
  • Two Cornell students whose app helps college students with exams using “spaced repetition and AI-generated flash cards”.
  • A high-school graduate from Long Island created the Cal-AI app, which provides the calorie count in foods to 90% accuracy from a picture

All were built without engineers, coders or investors – just a $20 monthly subscription. But, there is a catch. You have to be the person who can dream, who can articulate what could work, who have the curiosity to “unlock things that would not have been possible.”

And Finally...

Here are some key points I learned, (rewritten by ChatGPT),  when listening to a podcast on Building AI-First Brands, the new book by Andy Sack and Adam Brotman

AI = Superpower
It’s like an “Iron Man suit” that enhances human capabilities—AI isn’t just a tool, it’s a competitive edge.

AI‑First CEOs Win
Business leaders must center AI in their vision and strategy, not treat it as an afterthought.

Appoint an AI Lead
Whether called an “AI Czar” or a dedicated team, someone needs to own AI integration across the company.

AI Fluency = Higher Pay
Professionals adept in AI can expect up to a 50% bump in compensation—a clear ROI on upskilling.

Marketing Roles in Flux
Sam Altman warns that as much as 95% of marketing jobs may disappear in 3–5 years, thanks to AI automation.

Jump in, have some fun with AI.

Have a great week,
