I consider myself an early adopter, but since I don’t own any Bitcoin and didn’t start using AI daily until last month, maybe I am not that much of an early adopter.
Based on a human recommendation from an Executive Coach I know and trust, I started using the AI tool built into Zoom for my coaching calls. What surprised me was how quickly my clients agreed to use the tool. Because our conversations are confidential, I thought they would be hesitant…but they weren’t! The summary, action items, and details of our calls are incredible. I have consistently heard great feedback
from my clients about the Zoom AI assist and now rely on it more than I would like to admit.
Next, I need to subscribe to Otter or one of their competitors for in-person meetings. Having access to a transcription tool is a game-changer for me. It saves me time, captures the substance faster than I can take notes, and provides so much detail. Check out this article from Geeks for Geeks to learn about various transcription tools.
Which AI assist will you subscribe to?
Worth the share
I was excited to read this compelling article by Josh Beslin to help me better understand AI from a practical point of view. He is an HR tech consultant who has embraced AI and has had a great experience with the HR assistance tool Galileo.
His insight? Artificial Intelligence will keep getting better and faster and solve more significant tasks. It will give rise to the Super Worker, empowering humans to provide higher value and benefit from higher-paying jobs. His stages outline how many of our
jobs will be transformed over time.
Josh Beslin’s four stages of AI:
– Level 1: Make existing work easier. (Same job, better tools.)
– Level 2: Major steps eliminated, but the job is the same. (Same job, tools
eliminate work.)
– Level 3: Re-engineered work, partnered with agents. (New job, redesigned
process, agents automate work.)
– Level 4: Autonomous intelligent agents, people training and managing the AI.
(New job, redesigned process, people “manage” the agents.)

“Some people worry that artificial intelligence will make us feel inferior, but then, anybody in his right mind should have an inferiority complex every time they look at a flower.”
—Alan Kay, computing pioneer on AI.
And Finally...
As the year winds down, breathe, honor your boundaries, and prioritize self-care. Enjoy the magic of the season, the simple pleasures, the decorations, the music, and the parties. Spend quality moments with family and friends. Prioritize time off. Get outside. Reflect. Sleep in. Be silly. Laugh often and have fun.
After all, it is “the most wonderful time of the year.”
Wishing you and yours a joyous holiday season,
Mary Jo
